Associate, Workers’ Compensation
Junira Castillo is an associate attorney in Goldstein Bender & Romanoff’s workers’ compensation group. Junira efficiently and aggressively resolves workers’ compensation matters, arguing before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Prior to joining Goldstein Bender & Romanoff, Junira served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jesse G. Reyes of the Illinois Appellate Court for the First District. Junira has extensive experience working on all facets of a civil case, from pre-filing matters to discovery disputes through trial and appeal. Junira is a native Spanish speaker, a skill that many clients for whom English is a second language find helpful and welcoming.
Junira currently serves on the Diversity Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors and is an active member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
Junira received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and a B.S. from Loyola University Chicago.
