We have sixty years of experience handling personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, construction, and workers’ compensation cases. If you have been injured we can answer your questions. Call today to speak directly with one of our attorneys.

Do you have evening or weekend appointments?
Yes. Goldstein Bender & Romanoff is open every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Special arrangements may also be available outside of our business hours.

What do you charge to handle my personal injury case?
We work on a contingency fee basis. This means that we are not compensated unless you are. Many attorneys will raise the fee if the case does not settle and proceeds to trial. We at Goldstein, Bender & Romanoff will never charge a higher fee if we take your case trial. In fact, we accept every case with the expectation that we will proceed to trial. Goldstein Bender & Romanoff also advances litigation costs so you will not have to spend your money to prosecute your claim. We recoup these costs once we have successfully obtained a recovery on your behalf.

We also work on a contingency fee basis for workers’ compensation claims. We will also advance the costs necessary to prosecute your claim and will recoup them after obtaining an award, settlement or verdict.

How long do I have to bring a lawsuit?
There are deadlines imposed by law. For instance, in Illinois injured victims typically have two years from the date of injury to sue for damages. However, deadlines may vary depending on the type of case and the facts involved. If you believe that a deadline is approaching in your case, or are unsure when your deadline is, please consult with an attorney as soon as possible.

What documents should I bring with me when I meet with an attorney?
It is important to bring as much information as possible. Bring any documents that you believe are relevant to your case. Examples include accident reports, medical reports, signed contracts, photographs, and any other written materials you might have. If you do not have any documents at the time of your first meeting with Goldstein Bender & Romanoff, we will make every effort to assist you in obtaining the necessary documents.

Why meet with our personal injury attorneys?
If you are injured because of someone else’s negligence, you have the right to be compensated for your injury, including compensation for related medical expenses, pain and suffering, disability, lost income and more. Do not let insurance companies manipulate your rights. They have attorneys working on their side. You deserve a level playing field. The consultation is free and you only pay for our services if we settle or win your case.

When should you call Goldstein Bender and Romanoff?
Immediately. Without realizing it, you could make a decision that could have negative consequences. Illinois law will not allow you to seek the justice you deserve if you wait too long to file your injury claim. The failure to file your case by the deadline can forfeit your right to bring a claim. Call us to today to discuss the extent of your injury and suffering and what course of action you should take.

Do we have experience in your particular type of case?
Chances are, yes. We handle a wide variety of cases—including injuries arising from car accidents, construction accidents, product defects, medical malpractice, slip and falls, dog bites, and many more. Goldstein Bender & Romanoff has exclusively represented injured people for over 60 years, and our attorneys’ combined experience counts. You can be confident that Goldstein Bender & Romanoff has the knowledge to assist you in your obtaining the results you deserve.
